First…Let’s Make Sure your Photogize software is up-to-date

This Holiday season, be sure that you’re running the latest versions of our Photogize Lab and Kiosk software applications. Please visit our downloads page to get the latest versions. To give your customers the best selection of Holiday cards and gifts in your kiosks and online, we strongly recommend you update your Photogize Lab to version 6, and update your Photogize Kiosk to version 3.

We’re really encouraging all our Photogize retailers be CloudCover-enabled ASAP. Here’s why:

  1. An important benefit is that CloudCover will simplify your photo lab operations during the busy Holiday season. We’ve designed CloudCover so that any product or template fix updates we make will be automatically updated in your PhotoCentral online account and Photogize Kiosk 3 units in minutes…eliminating the need for you to download and install successive updates. Your Holiday service quality goes up while your maintenance effort goes down! CloudCover gives you one less thing to worry about during you busy holiday season.
  2. With CloudCover you have, for the very first time, the ability to create your own custom products and templates in Adobe Photoshop that you can add to your Photogize Kiosks and PhotoCentral online service.
  3. With CloudCover we’ve introduced new business models that enable you to sell creative products with NO revenue share.
  4. The CloudCover provides your customers with the same intuitive “browse and buy” UI for your locally created custom products that your customers now enjoy with the creative products we provide you…an industry first!

Photogize Lab 6 is a one-time $295 upgrade, and available here. Kiosk 3 is also a paid upgrade, and available here. New CloudCover Content (Creative Products and Templates) is now available to all Photogize Retailers

One way to avoid paying rev share on Photogize creative product orders is to license the CloudCover Content from us in advance and enjoy unlimited royalty-free use. You will find the CloudCover Content in our webstore. We’ve organized the Content into Product Packs, and made it super easy to activate these products– watch this YouTube video on our simple activation process: Purchasing and Activating CloudCover Content. New content can now be available on your kiosks and online service within minutes!

New PhotoTidings CloudCover Content, including Holiday and Single Page Calendar content, is available to all CloudCover-enabled Photogize retailers. You don’t need to purchase this content in the webstore. Just launch your Lab 6 Product Sheet, and this content will be immediately available to you. Price the products then republish for immediate availability in your Kiosk 3 units and PhotoCentral online service. The standard 10% rev share will apply to orders that use the PT content.  Here is a video that shows how to update all your 2011 PT content to 2012 PT content.

In 2012 Graphx has made a substantial effort to convert most IPI MSP products into CloudCover-ready products and templates. This 2012 MSP content is now available in our webstore to Photogize retailers enrolled in the IPI MSP. The 2012 MSP content you purchase has NO Rev Share, so all the revenue you generate is yours. As soon as you complete your Content purchase, the product will show up in your Product Sheet in Photogize Lab. Just select it, price it, and publish it.
